Hi everyone! Welcome to my page. ☺️ I'm Teela and I'm the owner, CEO, and founder of Coastal Numbers. I stumbled into the Accounting realm after working in retail and the hospitality industries for almost a decade. I quickly fell in love with numbers and seeing how impactful they are to small business owners and why it's so important that your numbers are correct. I was let go during covid after working for a vacation rental company as a staff accountant for almost 4 years. Devastated I looked into what other career options I could do in Accounting and discovered bookkeeping. Bookkeeping reinvigorated my love of numbers and helping people, especially small businesses. I'm passionate about shopping small and supporting local businesses and seeing them prosper. Coastal Numbers has been my dream to empower business owners to understand their numbers and help scale their businesses while also adding my southern charm to it. When I'm not online looking through spreadsheets I'm spending time with my son, two fur babies, and trying to catch some Florida sun. Hope to connect with you soon and talk numbers!
